2. Principle:

Unidirectional Torsion: The specimen rotates uniformly around its own axis in one direction for 360 degrees as one torsion until the specified number of times or the specimen breaks.

Bidirectional Torsion: The specimen rotates uniformly around its own axis in one direction for 360 degrees as one torsion until the specified number of times, and then rotates in the opposite direction for the same number of times or the specimen breaks.
